English Requirement for Graduation

 ●    英語能力畢業門檻通過標準:

(1) GEPT全民英語能力分級檢定中高級複試(含)以上
(2) TOEFL IBT 92分(含)或CBT電腦托福237分(含)以上(約同舊制托福580分)
(3) IELTS 國際英語測驗6.5級(含)以上
(4) TOEIC 多益測驗820分(含)以上

** 學生須於畢業前申請英文畢業門檻抵免,並檢附任一在學期間達門檻之有效英檢成績單提出抵免,
    始能完成畢業手續。

 例如:英檢證書有效日為2019.08.01-2021.07.31,學生在證書有效日期前入學就讀始得抵免,
       
若超過證書有效日期需於入學後重新報考英檢抵免,或修習不列入學分的「科技寫作」課程以抵免英文門檻。

 

● 未達英文門檻需修習課程且學分"不能列入畢業學分":

(1)英語系國家的學生,修習「管理英文(111 課規表) 或 科技寫作(110 課規表)」,成績及格得列入一般選修課程的畢業學分。
(2)非英語系國家的學生達英文畢業門檻者,修習「管理英文(111 課規表) 或 科技寫作(110 課規表)」,成績及格得列入一般選修課程的畢業學分。
(3)非英語系國家的學生且未達英文畢業門檻者,修習「管理英文(111 課規表) 或 科技寫作(110 課規表)」,成績及格得符合畢業門檻,且該學分不列入畢業學分

 

      ●  English proficiency graduation rules:

      (1) The General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) of High intermediate(inclusive) and above
      (2) TOEFL IBT score of 92 (inclusive) or CBT computerized TOEFL score of 237 (inclusive) or above
            (the same as the old TOEFL score of 580)
      (3) IELTS International English Test 6.5 (inclusive) or above
      (4) TOEIC test scores of 820 points (inclusive) or above

      ** Students MUST submit an English proficiency certificate to the office before graduation to complete
          the  graduation procedures.

       e.g. English proficiency certificate valid is Aug.2019-Jul.2021, if you register IMBA within the period can
              be recognized reach to Graduation Threshold,
then if certificate invalid needs re-exam of English
              proficiency or enroll "Technical Writing' course and the credits can't count in graduation credits.

 

            ●   Not reach the English proficiency of graduation rules, need take related courses and 
          credits can't count in graduation credits.

     (1) Students from English-speaking countries enroll in“Management and Business English (111 curriculum) or Technical Writing(110 curriculum)”which can be recognized as
           their general elective credits for graduation.

     (2) Students who from non-English-speaking countries have English proficiency certificates to enroll in
          “Management and Business English (111 curriculum) or Technical Writing(110 curriculum)” which can be recognized as 
their general 
elective credits for graduation.
     (3) Students who from non-English speaking countries and without English proficiency certificates to
           enroll and pass “Management and Business English (111 curriculum) or Technical Writing(110 curriculum)”, the 3 credits cannot 
be recognized as graduati
on credits.
